It is small and I love my counter space. I leave it on the counter all the time because I use it everyday. (My Black & Decker Power Pro is too big to leave on the counter.) So far, it has not been in the way and it’s actually kind of cute just sitting there. 2.) I needed something to grind seeds and grains for my baby food. AND GRIND IT DOES! (It grinds better than my Black & Decker!) 3.) I wanted something easy to clean. After I use it, I put a dab of dish soap in the bowl and run the processor…so easy and fast. 4.) It’s great for small portions. I use chopped onions in alot of my cooking and hate cutting them. Instead of getting out my huge B & D Power Pro, I just toss the onion (in a few pieces) in the Cuisinart Mini Prep and it’s done! Some of the other reviews mentioned the noise. My other processor was loud, too, and I had to run it longer. This Cuisinart Mini Prep does its job so fast that the noise is not a factor for me. These cookies are D for DELICIOUS!!! I got this recipe out of a 1997 book Alpha-Bakery Children’s Cookbook. 3/4 cup sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1 cup butter (or margarine), softened 1 egg 2 1/4 cup flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 package (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups) Directions Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix sugars, butter, and egg in large mixing bowl with a wooden “poon” ;) Add in flour, baking soda and salt(dough will be stiff) add chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F until light golden brown 8-10 minutes (centers will be soft). Let cool slightly, then remove from cookie sheet. Makes about 4 dozen. Share! Enjoy :)

Nutella 1 large egg 1 additional egg yolk 2 tsp. vanilla extract 1-2 c. semi or bittersweet chocolate chips 1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans (optional) Heat oven to 325 degrees. Line a 20 x 14 baking sheet without sides with parchment paper. Mix flour, salt and baking soda together in a medium sized bowl. Set aside. With electric mixer, mix butter and sugars until thoroughly blended. Mix in Nutella, egg, yolk and vanilla extract. Add dry ingredients; mix until just combined. Stir in chips. Form 1/4 cup dough into ball. Holding ball using fingertips of both hands, pull into two equal halves. Rotate halves 90 degrees and with jagged surfaces exposed, join halves together at thir base, again forming a single cookie, being careful not to smooth dough’s uneven surface.
